Some weddings are best told through photographs, meaningful glances, and moments shared with loved ones. Aurélie and Guillaume’s wedding takes us to Northern France, between Merville and Lestrem, for a beautiful day dedicated to celebrating their love and union.
From their civil ceremony at Merville Town Hall to their church ceremony, followed by their wedding reception at Cam&This in Lestrem, I had the pleasure of accompanying them as their wedding photographer, capturing the highlights of this special day.

Aurélie and Guillaume said “I do” twice.
First, at the stunning Merville Town Hall, and then, just a few hundred metres away on foot, inside the magnificent Church of Merville.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Pas-de-Calais
With the ceremonies behind them, the nerves finally settling, and the summer heat growing more intense by the minute, there was only one thing left to do: celebrate!
Now officially husband and wife, Aurélie and Guillaume headed straight to their wedding reception venue, ready to enjoy the festivities.

A Soft, Rustic Countryside Theme
A Countryside-Inspired Wedding
The wedding decor embraced a soft, rustic countryside theme, thoughtfully designed by the reception venue to perfectly reflect the calm, warm, and radiant energy that Aurélie and Guillaume brought to their special day.
Pastel-coloured table settings and delicate floral centrepieces in soft beige and blush pink tones created a romantic, charming countryside atmosphere.
A SCORCHING HOT WEDDING DAY, AND YET...
Nothing could dampen the spirits of the many guests, who were eager to sing, dance, and celebrate despite the scorching summer heat.
Everyone made the most of the beautiful surroundings, enjoying music, laughter, and the delicious dishes lovingly prepared by the team at Aux Bonnes Papilles.
Beyond the venues and ceremonies, what I strive to capture above all else is the people.
A wedding is about so much more than the major milestones of the day. It's also made up of all those little, unplanned moments: a burst of laughter, a tender gesture, a knowing glance, or an unexpected reaction.
For Aurélie and Guillaume's wedding, as with every couple I have the pleasure of accompanying, my approach to wedding photography focuses on capturing genuine emotions, spontaneous moments, and the little details that make each celebration unique.
I want my photographs to allow couples to relive not only the events of their wedding day, but also its atmosphere, the emotions they experienced, and all those precious moments that made it truly unforgettable.
